My interests are many, but first and foremost, I love my animals,
especially my registered black Morgan mare, Midnight Beauty ("Beauty" for short). I've owned many horses
throughout my life, but Beauty is my favorite, mostly because I raised her from a 4-month old foal. In
2008, she was stricken with a case of laminitis and can no longer be ridden, so now I'm re-training her to pull a cart. We'll
be taking Sunday drives in no time. Beauty LOVES it!
Here is Beauty shown minutes after birth. That's her mom, Le
Royame's Justine. Proud papa is Castle Muscleman. Her pedigree can be traced back to some of the great foundation sires, including
Beamington and Querido. She's intelligent, curious, and she's got a real sense of humor.

| Tigger and Nellie |
Shown is Tigger (L) and Nellie (R), both sisters and part of a litter
of 4 that I rescued and bottle raised. Nellie is my 'bed buddy' and Tigger is the shameless lap cat. Any lap will do! Aside
from Tigger and Nellie, there is also Little Bit (she was the runt, now she's the biggest of all her siblings). Their
brother, a big black and white cat, died in 2006, apparently of a heart attack. Then there's Little Mama (not shown) who was
heartlessly left behind when her family moved away. She was pregnant, starving, and I took her in. She's now healthy and happy.

| Lucy, one of the kittens my mother left behind when she passed. |
A feral cat made my mother's backyard her home. My mother and
I tried very hard to trap her and get her spayed, but she was too smart. I can't tell you how many kittens she gave us--too
many. I worked at finding homes for most of the kittens before my mother passed in 2006. Lucy is from one of the last litters
I rescued and found homes for. I don't know why I kept her, except that there was something in her eyes . . .
